Pounding the animal skins and musical rhythm is part of my blood. While a heart beat implies movement, and a whack of it, a motionless portrait can somehow to seize that experience. The racing rhythm still exercises itself by determined will now and forever. Happily for our generation, that when this image was captured wasn’t misplaced through the generations.
I can feel every beat of the music and photograph that is caught indefinitely in this passed event.
