Assessing Indirect and Cumulative Impacts of Transportation Projects
Event on 2013-09-17 08:30:00

Welcome to a new training approach from Adrian Collaborative, LLC. In addition to our professional services in planning, project management, and community involvement, we have a corporate focus on research and education. The primary discussions, examples, and case studies will be based in Georgia and the Southeast. Not your typical training class, our approach combines informal lecture with many media examples, interactive group discussion, and hands-on group case studies with presentations. Our registration fee includes everything you need: a great training atmosphere, creative food choices, engaging discussions with colleagues, and extensive take-away materials that are formatted for practical use.

Topic: Assessing Indirect and Cumulative Impacts of Transportation Projects

After a test run in February earned us strong ratings and some helpful suggestions, we have upgraded and expanded this session to be even better with additional content and a case study details.  Lean about the relationship of proposed transportation improvements, adjacent land uses, development potential, and past and future actions that could affect perceived and actual impacts of your project.

  • Understanding terms, study areas, and methodology

  • Estimating induced land use changes

  • Indirect impacts on sensitive resources

  • Cumulative impact spatial and temporal boundaries

  • Analysis tools and impacts

  • Team approach with technical disciplines on each case study: NEPA/general planning, cultural resources, ecology, air/noise
